OMG it's here! Nothing like posting day minions. I've been so excited to share my thoughts on Sweet Fall, which you can find on the Reviews page HERE, as well as on Goodreads. Now release is scheduled for tomorrow, so fear not for you shan't be waiting long. But to keep you all fired up, I have a host of book awesomeness to share, so let us begin with the lush cover and blurby blurb... We all have secrets. Secrets well buried. Until we find the one soul who makes the burden of such secrets just that little bit easier to bear. Lexington "Lexi" Hart is a senior at the University of Alabama. Surrounded by her best friends, her loving family and having fulfilled her life-long dream of making the Crimson Tide cheer squad, everything is going exactly as she always dreamed it would. But beneath her happy exterior, demons lurk, threatening to jeopardize everything Lexi has worked to achieve. When events in her life become too much to cope with, Lexi finds herself spiraling down into the realm of her biggest fear. Lexi falls hard, victim once again to the only thing that can destroy her and, on the way, finds herself falling straight into the dangerous tattooed arms of a guy from the wrong side of the tracks. Austin Carillo, starting Wide Receiver for the Alabama Crimson Tide, must get picked in this year's NFL draft. He needs it. His brothers need it. Most importantly, his mother desperately needs it. Brought up in a world where the poor are forgotten, the sick are left to fend for themselves and no hero miraculously appears to pull you out of hell, Austin had no other choice but to make a living on the wrong side of the law—until football offered Austin the break to get his life back on track. But when a family tragedy drags him back into the clutches of the gang he believed he had left far behind, Austin finds himself falling. Falling back into criminal ways and falling deep into a suffocating darkness. Until a troubled yet kindred spirit stumbles across his path, where Austin quickly finds he is falling for a young woman—a young woman who might just have the power to save him from his worst enemy: himself. Can two troubled souls find a lasting peace together? Or will they finally succumb to the demons threatening to destroy them? Amazon UK - http://amzn.to/1yZHtm2 Amazon US - http://amzn.to/1ocJANp |

Tillie Cole is a Northern girl through and through. She originates from a place called Teesside on that little but awesomely sunny (okay I exaggerate) Isle called Great Britain. She was brought up surrounded by her English rose mother -- a farmer's daughter, her crazy Scottish father, a savagely sarcastic sister and a multitude of rescue animals and horses. Of course that's not all, I got the inside scoop minions. Oh yeah baby, I got an interview with Miss Tillie Cole herself! *Fangirls* Check it out... What inspired you to write? I have a background in theatre and would often write screenplays, manuscripts etc... I suppose my love of writing stemmed from that. I liked writing for fun, of creating different worlds, but never had the courage to show anyone. Until one drunken night I told my best friend, and with her encouragement, and that of my husband, I finally wrote a novel and published it months later. I have never looked back. How did you come up with the gorgeous Austin? When I wrote Sweet Home, I wanted an unconventional best friend for Rome, someone who you would not expect to attend such a prestigious college, but one who got there through his talent in football. When the readers asked me to make Sweet Home into a series, I knew that Austin would be an amazing character to explore, along with gothic Lexi. A tattooed ex-con trailer park Italian—there was so much behind all of that. Sweet Fall explores it, and you will fall madly in love with him, I’m sure. If you could live the life of one of your characters for a day, who would you be and why? Mae from It Ain’t Me, Babe. I just love everything about her. Her strength, her ability to forgive, to love so fiercely, and inspire such adoration from such a hard and damaged man, Styx. Or Maddie from the same novel. I want to know why Flame is obsessed with her so much! When I met you at RARE, you told me the inspiration behind IAMB. Has anyone or anything inspired Austin and Lexi's story? Austin was more from my mind, but Lexi’s character was in part, inspired by me. Lexi suffers from a disorder that plagued me for most of my teenage life. I wanted to show just what it’s really like dealing with this debilitating affliction, and Lexi was the perfect character to do that with. I feel Sweet Fall really sheds some light on issues that are not always so freely discussed in novels, or even in life. Hopefully people will take something away with them after reading Sweet Fall. How many more books can we expect in the series? There will be one more after this, Sweet Hope, Ally’s novel. This novel will be set when all of the gang are in their mid-twenties. You will see how all your favourite characters are doing, where they are in their lives and what they are up to. I already have the epilogue and it’s the perfect end to the much-loved series that changed my life. It was wonderful having you, thank you for stopping by Tillie! |
